In a little over two weeks I am marrying my wonderful fiancé Chris!!!

In honor of this: here is an image I created a couple months back (as a Christmas present) for him and our parents. It's a fantasy portrait of the two of us as kids! Me as a prairie princess wielding a golden paintbrush and him as a little boy wearing a tron-inspired suit...with a castle and rocket ship behind us respectively. The likenesses are referenced from old photos, and are pretty much spot-on

This is one of the 16"x24" canvas wrap prints from Costco. They turned out really nice!

Aww this is so sweet. And this is so good too. I really like the fantasy of a prairie girl and a spaceman aspect of it mixed in with the nostalgic innocence of young love.
So fairytale like

Lovely work!! I must say, as a connoisseur of spacecraft, that you paint a really beautiful classic tail-sitter rocket ship, and the blue-black sky full of shining stars is beautiful as well. It reminds of the classic Ray Bradbury story "R is for Rocket".

The castle and fairytale landscape are nicely done as well. That's some Christmas present...
